How does he handle travel arrangements?

Travel arrangements are made by Don's assistant from our office. His itinerary often requires changes based on engagements booked and flights cannot always be arranged well in advance.   We ask that our clients reserve Don a king, non-smoking room, in the hotel of the event, and to have it billed to the clients master account, with confirmation sent to our office.  If you have specific questions about Don's travel to your event, please contact us.

Does he offer products at our event? How?

This is a client option. In most cases, Don briefly mentions his training products (about 45 seconds) near the end of his presentation.  Audience members then had Don their business cards when he's off platform if they are interested in ordering. We then ship the product directly from our office.  Another option is that arrangements can be made to have Don's products available in your bookstore or on-site. Often conference attendees appreciate having product shipped at a later date instead of transporting extra items home.

By what process does Don tailor his material?

The usual method Don uses to tailor presentations is by in-depth needs analysis interviews with executives in your organization. These interviews can be done in person but are usually accomplished by telephone.

Why should I hire Don, especially hwen I can get someone else cheaper?

Don has been in the professional speaking industry for many years and has a proven track record in delivering the results you are seeking.  His commitment to the industry and to delivering excellence is evidenced by the many awards Don holds and the extra-ordinary amount of repeat business he receives.  You won't find another speaker who has invested more time in sharpening his presentation skills, investigating the needs of business professionals, and in researching his topics.  The old axiom "You get what you pay for" is especially true when it comes to the professional speaking industry.  A compromise in speaker selection will compromise the success of your event.

Why should we hire a "professional" when we can get our own President (or member, or vendor) to speak for free?

Having your President, CEO, a member, or a vendor speak at your event may be entirely appropriate, depending on what your goals for the event are. On the other hand, many of the post engagement questionnaires we have been privileged to evaluate indicate the participants enjoy and expect someone outside the company or even the industry to give them an entertaining and broader perspective. Don has a motivational style that leaves participants energized for positive change and, with his tailoring; he can use that motivational skill to move your participants toward organizational goals.

You may not actually have an either/or situation. Most events have several sessions where speakers and trainers are needed. You can very often have the best of both worlds, since there are appropriate places for everyone to speak. Another consideration...to maximize the impact of ROI from your speaker-dollar, consider using Don for more than one presentation at your event.
