The one thing we all know now is that selling in today’s market with yesterday’s approaches is a non-starter! The bar of excellence, it seems, is being raised on us daily. Our prospects are more sophisticated and demanding; our competition is keener (the losers have already perished, so only the strong remain!); and client needs are changing all the time; The essence of our existence is that we must be better than ever at needs-analysis, trust-building, solution-development, and all other aspects of professional selling.
I’ve had the pleasure recently of doing some writing for SUCCESS Magazine, which has been revived into a great new publication. I got a call several weeks ago for an interview for an article on selling skills in which they included the input of several of the finest sales trainers in America.
